Many organizations say it, but we really mean it - Volunteers are the lifeblood of Out Boulder! If you have been thinking about getting more involved in your community, volunteering with Out Boulder is a great way to start.
SpeakingOUT is one of Out Boulder's most vital community programs. We train volunteers - just like you - to sit on panels with other LGBTQ and Allied people and share your story with community groups and classes. We provide panels to Boulder Valley School district middle and high schools, CU Boulder, Naropa and Front Range Community College classes and community organizations. Last year, our volunteers provided more than 50 panels reaching over 1,800 people.
Please join us for an Out Boulder LGBTQ and Allied Holiday Social Gathering at Martini's Bistro on Wednesday, December 22 from 5 to 7:30pm. Feel free to drop by for just a few minutes or stay the whole time. It's a great way to connect with old friends for the holidays and meet new ones.
Friday, November 26, 2010 - 10:00pm to Saturday, November 27, 2010 - 2:00am
Celebrating the holidays is core to ‘American Values’. On Black Friday, Prop Gay will be joining up with SantaCon and the P Partiers to add OUR flare to the holiday cheer. As you’d expect, this won’t be just any ordinary holiday party. We’ll be giving thanks and celebrating the birth of… well, how about us? ☺, dressed as naughty Santas, Elves and the like! Dig out your Santa hats, elf ears or that old Christmas g-string, ‘cause this event will be unforgettable!
