Join in the conversation about the importance of intersectional work and specifically how your church can become a sanctuary church.
We will hear from faith leaders who are part of sanctuary churches. They will share their church's story. Additionally, immigrants who have sought sanctuary will share their stories and we will hear from a member of the Northern CO Dreamers who is queer and undocumented.
Jennifer Piper, Interfaith Organizing Director of AFSC Colorado will be ready to answer all of your questions.
On Tuesday night, over 300 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people and our allies packed into the Stewart Auditorium of the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center for a night of spoken word, music, and mobilization. This special gathering was made possible because of the active collaboration we enjoy with A Queer Endeavor and generous funding from the Twisted Foundation.
