Support groups are open to anyone that has a gender expansive identity including transgender, genderqueer, gender fluid, agender, non-binary, and intersex people. We also support people who are questioning their identity and people who don't want to label themselves yet (or at all).
The life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be celebrated in Boulder through a repertoire of community-led events on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017. Boulder will honor Dr. King with a day of special activities that will inspire Boulder residents to action. The day’s schedule includes art exhibits, interactive workshops, poetry and discussions. This celebration, organized by community organizations and the City of Boulder, is sponsored by the city’s Human Relations Commission.
This strength-based, primary prevention, experiential program will focus on boundary setting, verbal and physical intervention tactics, and on adrenaline management in a trauma informed manner. The class will be taught by IMPACT and will focus on:

With “Resilience” as a theme for this holiday, Lisa Wallace, OASOS intern, and Jean Hodges will shine light on scenarios regarding difficult conversations that can arise during the holidays for all ages. Hear past experiences and gain advice to assist in providing a positive outcome.
The recent election has left many LGBTQ people in our community with questions and concerns, a desire for healing, and more motivated than ever to take action. As local partners, Out Boulder County & A Queer Endeavor are hosting an event with the intention of bringing community together across these needs.
The Denver Millennial March is an all-accepted, all-inclusive march through the city of Denver on Inauguration Day, which will take place January 20, 2017, and be held by teamLOVE. teamLOVE is a group of Boulder students and youth dedicated to making the future responsible. Our goal is to protect progressive legislation to support the rights of ALL humans by fundraising and providing an event for groups like Planned Parenthood, the Gay-Straight Alliance, Greenpeace, the NAACP, and more to come together and communicate the cause.
The Lavender Gala is a holiday event specifically geared to affirm the lives of Boulder County LGBT older adults---friends, family and allies of this diverse community are welcome. A 2015 attendee reported, “The whole atmosphere made me happy. Seeing old friends was very important to me.” Another shared that “it reminds me of the importance of the LGBT community as we age.” Organizer Nancy Grimes says, "We particularly encourage those who don’t get out much to attend this event. The venue is accessible, there is plenty of parking, and we’ll be done before it is dark.
