"The Untruth i Wore" uses contemporary dance to expose our truths and their origin. How does what we believe about ourselves affect our lives? Where do these stories come from? Do they still serve us? How do we wade through all the information we are fed from birth to uncover our truth?
Life Reclaimed is The Denver Element's third annual gay and bi men’s
wellness symposium. The symposium includes breakfast and lunch and
features a great variety of speakers discussing issues regarding gay/bi sexuality,
stigma, men's nutrition, community engagement, and ways to help improve quality
of life. Breakfast is served from 8-9am and the program will begin promptly at 9am.
This year, local lesbian legend Ash Beckham --8 million YouTube views-- is headlining the 18th annual Open Door Fund (ODF) LGBT fundraising dinner. As the largest funder of the LGBT community in Boulder County, the ODF has granted more than $400,000 to LGBT programs. The ODF received a $150,000 matching grant from the Twisted Foundation (over the next three years) to challenge our community to reach the $1,000,000 endowment goal. Thanks, Twisted!!
