In a concerted effort to add additional trans* voices to the public conversation about transgender identities and realities, Out Boulder is launching a Trans* Visibility Bus Board Campaign the week of September 7, 2015. This campaign is modeled after a similar effort conducted in Washington DC in 2012.
We are writing as staff of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Resource Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder to invite you to a special lecture on creating transgender-inclusive work environments. Research has shown that while transgender people have higher than average educational attainment, the transgender community continues to experience high rates of unemployment and underemployment.

Now that marriage is for everyone, the world looks just a little bit brighter. So come out and shine with your gold and everything that sparkles. All that glitters may not be gold, but sequins, tinsel, glitter, and bedazzlers shine and can light up the night!
This month’s event will be at Shine on SATURDAY and also start an hour earlier at 9PM for those who like to get the party started! Join us later for the after party at PressPlay!
Sara Connell, Out Boulder's Education and Services Manager received the inaugural Transformation Award from The GLBT Community Center of Colorado last night at their first ever Transgender Program Fundraiser, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
What we do: we come into a safe space to be creative and write. Express ourselves artistically and verbally. Create a community of people with self expression and interaction knowing that it is a safe and all inclusive space. If you have questions about the group, please contact Desi at email@example.com.
CONNECTIONS is a new meeting for Trans and Two-Spirit Folks, of all ages and backgrounds.
The goal is to gain more confidence and support by connecting with: your Higher-Self and other Trans-Folk. Using psychic development tools such as: HU chanting; Guided-Meditations, visualizations and breathing techniques.
We also share our stories from experience, strength and hope, using a 'talking-stick', which is used commonly in Native-American practices. Allowing us to be active in the moment of a Heart-Centered-Sharing space.
