This strength-based, primary prevention, experiential program will focus on boundary setting, verbal and physical intervention tactics, and on adrenaline management in a trauma informed manner. The class will be taught by IMPACT and will focus on:

With “Resilience” as a theme for this holiday, Lisa Wallace, OASOS intern, and Jean Hodges will shine light on scenarios regarding difficult conversations that can arise during the holidays for all ages. Hear past experiences and gain advice to assist in providing a positive outcome.
The recent election has left many LGBTQ people in our community with questions and concerns, a desire for healing, and more motivated than ever to take action. As local partners, Out Boulder County & A Queer Endeavor are hosting an event with the intention of bringing community together across these needs.
The Denver Millennial March is an all-accepted, all-inclusive march through the city of Denver on Inauguration Day, which will take place January 20, 2017, and be held by teamLOVE. teamLOVE is a group of Boulder students and youth dedicated to making the future responsible. Our goal is to protect progressive legislation to support the rights of ALL humans by fundraising and providing an event for groups like Planned Parenthood, the Gay-Straight Alliance, Greenpeace, the NAACP, and more to come together and communicate the cause.

Saint Vrain Valley Safe Schools Coalition, OASOS and Out Boulder County are throwing a celebration and collaboration event for Gay-Straight Alliances, Allies Clubs, Gender and Sexual Alliances and all other LGBTQ clubs from St. Vrain middle and high schools on Thursday, November 10th!
Trans Youth Education and Support (TYES) and Out Boulder County present a special event for youth ages 4 through 12 who are transgender, gender queer, gender fluid, gender expansive, and for any other youth who don't identify with the gender they were assigned at birth. This event is also open to siblings of gender expansive youth.
Celebrating Our Youth: Tips on how to be a parent and ally to our gender expansive and trans children.
Themes of responding to bullying, early detection of self-harm, acknowledging we all have a gender identity, and understanding intersectionality will be addressed.
Andrew and Caitlin will be drawing upon information received at the Annual 2016 Gender Spectrum Conference they attended in California this summer as well as their personal and professional experience.

Our most popular training is our LGBTQ 101 training, which covers appropriate language around gender and sexuality, information about transgender identities, tips on how you can be an ally to LGBTQ customers/clients/co-workers, and practical scenarios customized to fit your needs. This presentation is an hour and a half.
