OBC Volunteer Training

You're invited to join us next Wednesday (3/1) for our monthly Volunteer Training!
We will meet in Longmont starting at 5:30 PM with food, basic training, and an opportunity to talk with
Deidre and Juan about how YOU can get involved in our programming.
 

Sara will also lead a training on LGBTQ identities, which will be engaging
for people of all knowledge levels on issues facing our diverse communities.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the most important part of making Out Boulder County run. We are always looking for volunteers to fill different needs for our community center. Volunteers can help us in many different ways. You can check out some of our options below to get an idea of how you'd like to help out!

Current Volunteer Opportunities

  • Answer phones and greet people at our front desk in both Longmont and Boulder offices
  • Talk with middle and high school students as a trained member of Speaking Out (LGBTQ and Ally Speaker's Bureau)
  • Run the monthly game night at the Twisted Pine 

  • Plan special events including the Red Party and two Pride celebrations

  • Coordinate gatherings of faith leaders

  • Maintain databases

  • Help with administrative tasks

  • Winterize the Pridehouse

  • Take care of the yard at the Pridehouse

  • Clean one of our offices
     

  • If you are a member of AA start a meeting in our Longmont office

  • If you are a Drupal expert help us start a jobs board on our website
