Out Youth Film Project 2016/17
This annual tradition teaches LGBTQ and allied youth how to write, storyboard, film, edit, and produce their own films, all from scratch! Youth films are usually about some part of their experience as a queer teen or ally, but they don't have to be. We've had students make music videos, zombie films, experimental pieces, soundscapes, black and white films, and dozens more.

Lesbian Dream Sequence - by Jake
Every teenager has problems when it comes to dating. Everybody's awkward, no one has any experience, everything about it is just kind of weird. Queer teens however have an extra bonus challenge of finding other like-minded youth. Someone who's dating material has to be very specific when you're queer. The age has to be similar, location is an issue, personality compatibility, and now there's a much narrower field of people you have to sort through to find someone to just date! It's not a very high scale issue, but most every queer youth I know has felt the frustration of feeling lonely.
invisible battle - by Daria
This is a film about a relatively depressing portion of my life. I enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy watching it. I don't really know what else to say about this film. I was told to talk about it, but its an abstract film so its open to interpretation. So I don't feel there's much to talk about, interpret how you will.
God Gave Me You - Andy
This film is an expression of the immensely significant impact that my horse has made on my life. He has changed my life for the better, and our bond is strong. Together we are unstoppable, and this film portrays the work we’ve done together and continue to do.
