Tuesday 9/5 (Facebook Event): You're invited to kick off Pride Week 2017 with Real Boy! Real Boy is an intimate story of a family in transition. As 19-year-old Bennett Wallace navigates early sobriety, late adolescence, and the evolution of his gender identity, his mother makes her own transformation from resistance to acceptance of her trans son. Along the way, both mother and son find support in their communities, reminding us that families are not only given, but chosen.
A panel for Q&A will follow the screening.

Wednesday, 9/6 (Facebook Event): FACETS is a LGBTQIA+ youth talent show for LGBTQIA+ and allied youth ages 13-25 (12 with parent permission). Talents can be anything that you can showcase on a small stage. They must be 'PG' and last 3-5 minutes long. Previous years have featured musical acts, skits, poetry, photography, and more.re
It will be on Wednesday, September 6th at Shine from 6-8pm. Performers will need to be there at 5:00. Shine is located at 2027 13th St, Boulder.

Wednesday 9/6 (Facebook Event): Family Building Seminar! Join Out Boulder County and a panel of experts to discuss the different ways you can build your family, including adoption, foster care, artificial insemination and legal structures.
This event will be focused on the specific needs of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) people, however the information will be useful to anyone of any sexuality and gender who want to grow their family.
Because of limited space, this event REQUIRES AN RSVP TWO WEEKS PRIOR to firstname.lastname@example.org. This event usually fills up fast so RSVP today!

Wednesday 9/6 (Facebook Event): Rainbow Elders Mixer! This event is to bring together our elder community and offer a space for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) folks of all ages to mingle and meet.
Appetizers and drinks will be served. The event will include a short program on housing. Parking is very limited, carpooling or public transit is recommended.

Thursday, 9/7 (Facebook Event): LGBTQ Happy Hour! Join Out Boulder County for a happy hour celebration of Boulder Pride Week at Deviant Spirits!
$1 off all drinks for the whole night, including a special surprise Pride cocktail. There will also be a food truck available outside the event for easy access to dinner and snacks.
This is a 21+ only event.
Friends/Allies are always welcome and encouraged to attend.
Friday, 9/8 (Facebook Event Coming Soon!): Let's Get Physical! See you at The Studio Boulder for Out Boulder County's annual Pride Dance.
DJ Jordan will be spinning. Haus of Fishcandy will perform their fabulous drag. Titos will be providing the vodka and Qs will be providing the Ginger Beer. Beer will also be for sale. Summit Tacos will be there with their scrumptious food.
$10 at the door and CASH bar.
Sunday, 9/10 (Facebook Event): Big Gay 5K! The Big Gay 5K in Boulder is going to be, well, BIG! The Big Gay 5K-Boulder helps support Boulder Pride dba Out Boulder County. Out Boulder County’s mission is to educate, advocate and provide services, programs and support for Boulder County’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer communities.
Please consider making a contribution directly to Out Boulder County during your registration for the race!
Course: The Big Gay 5K will start on the east side of Central Park & Civic Area near 13th Street. We will run west along Boulder Creek for 1.55 miles, loop back and head back towards the finish line to join the Pridefest activities!
Parking: As with all PrideFest activities parking is going to be tight. Look for street parking in and around Central Park & Civic Area or one of the nearby parking lots or garages.
T-shirt: All participants will receive a Big Gay 5K t-shirt!
Packet Pick-Up: Participants can pick up their bibs, timing chips, t-shirts, and goody bags at the OutBoulder office ( 2132 14th St., Boulder, CO 80302) on Saturday, September 9 from 2pm to 4pm.
This race is for everyone; walkers, runners, kids, adults, gay and straight. Come to run. Come to have fun. Come to support. Come to show your PRIDE! Costumes and prideful, colorful clothing are encouraged.
Sunday 9/10 (Facebook Event): LGBTQ Visibility March! Let's start off Boulder Pridefest with joy and visibility! Come show your pride and be a part of Out Boulder County's Visibility March!
All LGBTQ+ identities and allies are welcome to come march and show your pride for our wonderful community. Festive, colorful dress is encouraged! If you're part of an LGBTQ-affirming organization, place of worship, volunteer group, or any other group, feel free to bring a banner or sign to represent your organization!
Sunday 9/10 (Facebook Event): Boulder Pridefest is Sunday, September 10th, 2017 from 11:30am to 6:30pm at Boulder Central Park.
Pridefest is Boulder County's largest LGBTQ event of the year, featuring vendor booths, a youth and family area, a health and wellness area, musical guests, food trucks, and more. Come early and stay late! Meet new friends and connect with ones you haven't seen all year.

Marcie Smith - 12:45 P.M. - 1:30 P.M.
To start the day of festivities, Marcie Smith will be performing first! She was in Top 40 Contestant on American Idol, Performs with The Reall Deall band, 1 Dude and a Chick, and had Solo Acts in and all around Los Angeles; House of blues, Viper Room, Witzend, The Mint, The Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival, San Diego Pride, Many Palm Springs Casinos, and venues throughout hollywood! She's also involved with writing songs for Artists, Tv/Film, and Independent projects. Assistant Music Supervisor on the web series Fake it til You Make It, featuring Jaleel White..
Gora Gora Orkestar - 1:45 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.
Gora Gora Orkestar brings the sounds of the World to the Rockies with high energy performances. Formed in the fall of 2009, this 10 piece brass band is dedicated to making the audience dance with its infectious rhythm and own brand of feel-good music. The sound is an eclectic mix, blending Old World melodies of Eastern European Balkan folk and New Orleans second-line, with the back beat of American funk and the sultry sway of South American tango.
This happy caravan of musicians is comprised of seasoned veterans in the performance, education, and composition of music. The band has released two EP recordings, "2015" and “Infinite Swag”, with a follow-up record slated for release in 2016
Haus of FishCandy - 2:45 P.M. - 3:30 P.M.
Right in the middle of the day, Haus of FishCandy returning for another year for Boulder Pridefest 2017! Join us for fabulous drag performances and beautiful costumes that have empowered and inspired audiences everywhere in Colorado. They're here to initiate Drag Theater and to recreate antiquities of where Drag comes from...and then some!
Samba Colorado - 3:45 P.M. - 4:30 P.M.
Samba Colorado is Colorado's 1st Brazilian Dance School and Company founded and directed by Kebrina Josefina De Jesus in 2013. We are devoted to bringing together people from all walks of life in an artistic, educational, positive community by sharing the joy and beauty of Brazilian music, culture and dance.
