The Birth of Sissy Sangha - A Conscious Queer Community

“SEA LEVEL IS FOR SISSIES” stared me in the face as I sat behind a blue Subaru waiting for a red light to change on the border of Boulder and Louisville. I could feel my blood pressure rising as my hands gripped tightly to my steering wheel. I started to notice the string of thoughts running through my head.

Join us for a conversation about sexuality and gender, practice your story to share in future panels, and get to know everyone else in the program. This training is AS CLOSE TO MANDATORY AS POSSIBLE for continuing with the Speaking Out program. We will hold another training in the late winter/early spring if you can't attend this session. If you can't make this training, please schedule a time to talk with Sara about alternatives.

A Major Step in the Right Direction

The picture above was a rally in front of the Courthouse in Friday night! Thank you to so many of you who “came out”.  The United States Supreme Court finally caught up with the reality of our lives and acknowledged that our relationships are steeped in love, centered in commitment and anchored in authentic partnerships.  We've always been in committed loving relationships but never had the rights and responsibilities associated with marriage. It's a brand-new day!

Come walk the labyrinth by the light of luminaries and the full moon. As you enter the center, you can meditate by the firepit and connect to the light at the center of all things.

The labyrinth is an interfaith spiritual paht and its patter is found in many different cultures. All are welcome!
