As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we cannot endorse any candidate. Rather, we work to understand and share information with our constituents about the candidates and their stances on topics that are important to our community.

We took two approaches: a candidate questionnaire and school board forums. As part of our expansion into northern Colorado, we have reached out to candidates from the following school districts:

  • Boulder Valley

  • St. Vrain Valley

  • Poudre

  • Thompson

Below you’ll find the winners of the 2023 school board elections in Boulder, Poudre, St. Vrain Valley, and Thompson counties. Click on the headers for each school district to see respondents’ answers to OBC’s questionnaire.

We know election season is a hectic time for candidates, which is why OBC would like to extend our gratitude to the following school board candidates who took the time to answer our 2023 questionnaire (click the school district headers to see respondents’ answers; the PDF guides includes bookmarks to help you move between different candidates.):

We invited all the School Board candidates in the 4 districts to complete the candidate questionnaire about various topics that are impactful for all students, especially LGBTQ+ and other historically marginalized students. You can review the questions here.
